Your Perth Wedding: Fun, Personal, and Completely Stress-Free
You want a wedding that feels like you, not a boring, cookie-cutter script. I’m Mark, a Perth celebrant and MC who keeps things relaxed, engaging, and seamless from the first "I do" to the final dance.
Hello, I’m Mark – Your Storyteller, Perth Wedding Celebrant & MC
Experience That Keeps You Calm; Personality That Keeps It Fun.
I’m Irish-born, Perth-based, and I’ve spent my life connecting with people. My journey started as a schoolteacher before I became a global tour guide, leading groups through Europe, Australia, and visiting every continent (even Antarctica!).
Why does this matter for your wedding? Because those ceremonies and years of guiding taught me one thing: how to read a room.
Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement in the Perth Hills or a high-energy gala in the Perth CBD, I bring the confidence of a professional and the warmth of a friend. I manage the crowd, handle the legalities, and kill the "awkward" factor so you can actually enjoy your day.

Perth’s Multi-Award-Winning Celebrant
I understand that couples want one celebrant they can trust, someone who keeps things smooth, fun, and professional. Here’s what sets me apart:
Location
-
In Perth, you’ll typically see professional celebrant and MC packages starting around $600. My fees reflect a premium, all-in-one service, meaning I handle the scripts, legalities, music, and MC duties. You aren't just paying for someone to read a paper; you're investing in a smooth, stress-free party.
-
To keep it legal in WA, you need a registered civil celebrant (like me), a religious minister, or a court-authorised officer. Hiring a pro ensures your marriage is legally bulletproof while keeping the ceremony vibe exactly how you want it, not stiff or formal.
-
If you want to actually enjoy your wedding instead of worrying about the microphone or the paperwork, yes. I guide your vows, manage the nervous energy, and keep the timeline on track. Plus, when I pull double duty as your MC, the transition from "I do" to the dance floor is totally seamless.
-
Technically, only an authorised celebrant can perform the "legal" bits. However, many couples use my "Friend-Led" package. Your mate tells the stories and does the "fun" part, while I stay in the wings to handle the legal wording and paperwork. It’s the best of both worlds.
-
The big one is the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), which must be lodged at least a month before the big day. You’ll also need your photo IDs and two witnesses over 18. Don’t sweat the details, I manage the entire filing process for you.
-
The best MC is someone who already knows you. That’s why the Celebrant + MC combo is so popular. Since I’ve already spent the morning with your family and friends during the ceremony, I can jump into the reception with the right energy to keep the crowd engaged and the night moving.
-
If you’re eye-ing a popular Saturday in the Swan Valley or a sunset slot in Fremantle, aim for 6–12 months out. Booking early means we can take our time crafting your story without the last-minute rush.
