In Australia, only a registered celebrant can legally marry you, but that's actually a small part of the ceremony. I take care of the monitum, the legal vows, and all the paperwork. Your friend does everything else: the welcome, your story, the laughs, the tears.

I coach them through it beforehand so they walk in feeling confident, not terrified.

  • Not on their own, Australian law requires a registered celebrant to handle the legal parts. But your friend can absolutely lead the ceremony. I step in only for what's legally required and step right back.

  • Everything that makes it feel like a wedding. The welcome, your love story, readings, guiding the vow exchange. The whole emotional heart of the day.

  • Yes, that's included. We'll go through the structure together, I'll give them a clear script guide, and by the day they'll feel genuinely prepared.

  • Yes. We handle the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at our first meeting, it needs to be lodged at least one month before your wedding. I take care of everything from there.

  • Completely. Legals-only is just the minimum required words and a signature. This is a full, beautiful ceremony, just with your person in the spotlight instead of me.
